Fabulous Las Vegas Classic Golf Tournament Results

It was a great Father’s Day weekend  as the APT – Las Vegas chapter hosted  the Fabulous Las Vegas Classic at Angel Park Golf Club .   Fifty-two players battled in ideal weather conditions and a tough be fair golf course set up  over the two days, with several division champions decided on the second nine on Sunday.

Division 1  Champion – Andrew Yeh  [145]

Starting Sundays second round five shots from behind, Andrew fired a two under sixty-nine to win by one shot over second place finisher Jonathan Minkoff [146]. Yeh is a multiple winner on the APT tour in 2022 and has his sights set on the North American National Championship in October, with hopes of winning it all. Congratulations Andrew

Division 2 Champion – Thomas Sadorf   [154]

After the first round Thomas had a commanding lead going into Sunday’s final round and played very steady golf to secure his second APT win of the season over second place finisher Kreg Klaver [161] and third place Ben May [166] .    Expect many more wins yet this year from Thomas as he is playing impressive golf .  Congratulations Thomas!

Division 3 Champion – Erine Alaan [165]

Ernie Alaan overcame a five shot deficit heading into the final round with a solid seventy-eight on Sunday to win by two shots over second place finisher Kody Conover [167]. George Reinhardt and Corey Verret [171] tied for third. Alaan is a very steady player on the APT tour and is looking for more wins as the 2022 summer season kicks in .   Congratulations Ernie!!

Division 4 Champion – Mike Lee [ 176]

Mike started the final round one shot behind and then went on to fire a solid 85  to secure  a one-shot victory over Edward Norton [177]. This is Mikes first win on the APT tour and was extremely excited to win on Father’s Day. Congratulations Mike!

Division 5 Champion – Michael Sherman [185]

Michael started the second round two shots behind but fired a solid ninety on Sunday to win by four over second place finisher Matt Coleman [189]. This is Shermans first win on the APT tour and is so looking forward to getting another victory at the next event.

Senior Net Champion – Andrew Yeh [141]

It happened again , a division champion double dipping and winning the Senior Net. Congratulations Andrew for securing both Division 1 and Senior net with a 2-shot victory over Kreg Klaver [143]. Ernie Alaan [145]  finished third   and Hendra Wijaya [146] was fourth
