Here’s your results for the 2025 Season Opener held last Saturday, March 29, at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course. We had a season high of 71 players tee it up on a fantastic day for golf. With the temperatures approaching 80 degrees, and some would say the same for the wind gust (just kidding), players were excited to hear “Welcome to the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course, this is the 10:24 tee time, now playing out of (your hometown) please welcome (insert your name here). Hands were shaking and hearts were beating as players made their best attempt to get off the first tee.
Congratulations to Tyler Kimble for his first place finish in Division 1 during our recent tournament held at Carlisle Barracks Golf Course on Saturday, March 29. Tyler shot a round of 78 to best a field of 4 competitors on a very windy day. For his efforts, while playing as a guest of the Amateur Players Tour – Central PA, Tyler was awarded a full membership in the Amateur Players Tour. Tyler is a member of the Men’s Golf Team at Mount Saint Mary’s University.
Congratulations to Chris Alderucci for his first place finish in Division 2 during our recent tournament held at Carlisle Barracks Golf Course on Saturday, March 29. Chris pulled off a 2 stroke win over a strong field of 16 competitors with a round of 77 with 3 birdies under very windy conditions. For his efforts Chris added to 287.5 points toward his Division Player of the Year Points race along with $240 and the trophy.
Congratulations to Matthew Lescavage for his first place finish in Division 3 during our recent tournament held at Carlisle Barracks Golf Course on Saturday, March 29. Matthew pulled out a close one stroke victory against a field of 18 competitors. His round of 77 included and Eagle on his opening hole and 2 additional birdies. This was Matthew’s first tournament playing as a guest and he was awarded a full membership in the Amateur Players Tour. In addition to his membership Matthew took home $473 in skin money.
Congratulations to Noah Pfautz for his first place finish in Division 4 during our recent tournament held at Carlisle Barracks Golf Course on Saturday, March 29. Noah shot a sensational round of 77 with 3 birdies on his way to best the largest field of the day, 20 competitors, on a very windy day. Noah had taken a year off the Amateur Players Tour – Central PA and came back a much improved player, evidenced by his monster drives throughout the day. We’re certain we’ll see Noah in Division 3 real soon. Noah took home the trophy and $250.
He’s back!!! Jab ForeGolf Our very own Jeff Brodsky, known as the Director of Nothing, is back in winners circle after a very hard fought victory in a 3 hole playoff over 2nd place finisher Skylar Holmes. Jeff hoisted the Division 5 trophy, carding a score of 89 on a very windy day at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course, Saturday, March 29. His 48 points for first place moved him into 3rd place in the Division 5 Local Player of the Year points race. He still has some work to do, but I know he’ll give it his best. Along with the trophy, Jeff took home $195 for his efforts.
Congratulations to Cassidy Nicholas Salvador for his first place finish in our Open Net competition during our recent tournament held at Carlisle Barracks Golf Course on Saturday, March 29. Cassidy proudly accepted the trophy to help ease the sting of his one stroke loss in Division 3. All in all, his net 2 under score of 70 was 4 strokes better then the field of 13 competitors. Along with the trophy and his 2nd place finish in Division 3, Cassidy took home a total of $211 in the form of a Visa Gift Card!
Congratulations to John Yano Friedman for his first place finish in our Senior Net competition during our recent tournament held at Carlisle Barracks Golf Course on Saturday, March 29. John pulled off a narrow 1 stroke win over a strong field of 26 competitors with a net score of 2 under 70 in very windy conditions. His 56.5 points for 1st place vaulted him into 3rd place in the Senior Net Local Player of the Year Race. His combined winnings for the day was $336
