Tournament Champions
This past weekend’s APT tournament at Towhee Golf Club in Spring Hill, TN, brought together golfers of all skill levels for two days of competitive play and camaraderie amid typical early-March weather. 146 golfers spread over 5 divisions competed for Player of the Year points and prizes.
🏆 Division 1 Recap
The top three were tightly packed behind a standout winning round from Mitchell, with just four strokes separating first and third place.
🥇 1st Place – Matt Mitchell (Nashville)

Matt Mitchell delivered the only under-par round of the division, finishing at 2-under to secure a clear victory. His strong performance earned him the top points total and the 1st place prize.

Division 2 set a Nashville APT record with 49 competitors, and the top of the leaderboard delivered a tightly contested battle. Just six strokes separated first place from the players tied for eighth.

Division 3 delivered one of the most exciting finishes of the day, ending in a playoff that was decided in dramatic fashion.

Jimmy Murphy (Nashville) secured solo second after posting a 90 (+20), while Shannon Sageser (Chapter Owners) rounded out the top three with a 92 (+22).
