30 Golfers teed it up at Kingsmill Resort. The River Course proved to be a great test and on Day 1 the golfers battled some rain, a suspension of play and a long round. On Day 2 the weather was perfect but many couldn’t take advantage of the conditions.
In Division 1, Guest Player Gerry Jones, Jr captured a five shot victory over Daniel Pirko. In Division 2, Mark Robertson, Ken Jones and Dave Baca were tied after Day 1 but Nathan Beck fired a two over 73 to capture the Division by one shot over Ken Jones.
In Division 3, Joe Renteria and Clarence Jones were tied after Day 1 but Joe fired a 5 over 76 for a eight shot victory and his first win of the season.
In Division 4, Daniel Henris of Carolina Triad held a one shot lead over John Lambert and Chuck Nimmo on Day 1. Daniel was able to match shot for shot and held on for the victory by one shot.
In Division 5, Tom Holecek took a 4 shot lead into Day 2 and it took a playoff for Tom to secure another victory over Darrell Wade.
Joe Renteria captured Senior Net by 2 Shots over Nathan Beck.
