2023 Forest Oaks Golf Tournament Results

We had 57 players with perfect weather at Forest Oaks CC. The course was in great shape for the two-day event. 

In Division 1 we had a familiar name comeback after trailing to win by 8 shots. Tim Barto claims another victory (73,70). We can all agree that Tim Barto is good at golf. In 2nd place Ivan Jones shot (75,76). 

In Division 2 we had are only playoff of the tournament between Dwayne Pope and Terry Newsome. The players shot (150) after a two-day tournament.  The winner with a par on hole #3 was Terry Newsome. Newsome will stretch his lead in Division 2 with this victory and Pope runner finish will move him up the leaderboard as well.  In 3rd place was Mark Ballew. Rounding out the top 4 was J comb. 

In Division 3 Marc Janse Van Rensburg held the overnight lead over Trinity Manning. The players started the 2nd round very shaky. In the end Marc JVR held off Terry Upright to win by 1 shot. The 3rd place spot was secured by Trinity Manning.  

In Division 4 Joesph Wirtz took a 6-shot lead over the field after day 1. In round 2 Joesph Wirtz was able to play well enough to win by 7 shots over Fred Carvalho. Carvalho also secures Senior Double Victory.  

In Division 5 Steve Daniels played the round of the day in Division 5 with a score of 82. Daniels was able to walk the leaders down to win by 7 shots. The score was also good enough to Senior Double Dip. Rivia Brown was able to secure 2nd place.
