2023 Mill Creek Golf Tournament Results

We had 46 players competing in the field and the conditions were perfect for scoring. The players battled with an abundance of birdies.   

In Division 1 Tim Barto continues his 2023 dominance with a score of 68(-4). Barto had 5 birdies and 1 bogey. The 68 is the best score recorded at Carolina Triad event this season. 

In Division 2 another dominant performance was put on by J Combs. Combs was able to hold Mick Correll career day to win by 3 shots. Combs 72(E) was the best score in Division 2 this year in Carolina Triad event. Correll scored 75(+3). Rounding out the top 3 and Senior Division Double Dip winner was split by Phil Vangeersdaelan, Terry Newsome and Coung Ton!! Congratulations! 

In Division 3 was our most exciting finish. Matthew Bryant and Trinity Manning come down the stretch with the title up for grabs. In the end Manning sinks in a birdie on hole 18 to take the victory by 1 with a score of 83(+11). Bryant takes solo 2nd with a score of 84(+12). Rounding out the top 3 was John Biggs 85(+13). Senior Double Dip winner was Mike Ogburn of Sanford, NC 86(+14). 

In Division 4 Chris Tuggle shot a scorching 81(+9) in Division 4 to take the victory by 6 shots. We would now like to congratulate Chris Tuggle as he will be promoted to Division 3! The players finishing out the top 3 were Mike Gray and Tim Smith. The players have started the season out strong in Division 4. Gray also takes Senior Double Dip in Division 4. 

 In Division 5 we had a playoff between Steve Daniels and TJ Williams after both players scored a 89(+17). In the first playoff hole it was TJ Williams that was victorious. Daniels secured the Senior Double Dip title
