APT Maryland held its second event of the 2023 season at Richland Golf Course. Sold out field of 40 players were challenged on cloudy chilly Maryland day and another successful Folds of Honor raffle was conducted.
Division 1:
The D1 winner was a new player from Scotland, and a Virginia Capital member Daniel Sim (85) battled another player to the end to pull out a five-shot victory over Chris Maresco.
Division 2:
The D2 winner was from the Maryland Chapter Jake Rich (82) and Jake’s first victory in 2023. Second was William Marlowe(84), and third was James Kauffman (86) both from Maryland Chapter.
Division 3:
The D3 winner and was Clarence Smith (87), coming in second was Fred Levine (88) both from Virginia Capital, coming in third was Charlie Hertel (89) from the Maryland Chapter.
Division 4:
The D4 winner was from the Maryland Chapter and first-time winner Jeremy Simpson (91) coming in second was three players. From the Carolina tour was Christ McCauley (95), Milton Rashid and Peter Witkowski both from the Maryland Chapter
Division 5:
D5 winner was Frank Holbrook (100) from Maryland Chapter, with a one shot victory over Jim Pritchett (101) from the Virginia Capital.
Senior Net:
The Senior Net went to a Jim Pritchett from the Virginia Capital Chapter.
The winner of the Folds of Honor 50/50 raffle was Ken Jones.
