Tournament Champions
The Battle at Boulder, the first of the back-to-back local event tournaments for the APT Las Vegas, kicked off on Saturday, March 16th, at the scenic Boulder City Golf Course. Despite starting off under wet conditions, the weather improved as the day progressed, setting the stage for some thrilling golf action across various divisions.
** Division 1 **
Reigning D1 Player of the Year, Josh Crossen, and Kevin Brady from Ada, MI, locked horns, both finishing the round tied at +3 [75]. The deadlock led to a nail-biting sudden death playoff, ultimately won by Kevin Brady, showcasing nerves of steel under pressure.
** Division 2 **
Mark Smith emerged as the dominant force of the day, leaving his competitors trailing with a stellar performance, carding the day’s lowest score of even par [72].
** Division 3 **
Greg Roush clinched victory with a commendable score of +13 [85], prevailing over Casey Bice who finished at +17 [89].
** Division 4 **
Jeremy Conetah, representing the Rocky Mountain Chapter, made his presence felt, showcasing his prowess and clinching victory with a score of +18 [90], edging out Ivan Loochkartt who finished at +20 [92].
** Division 5 **
Division 5 witnessed a tight contest, with Michael Cruz securing the win by a narrow margin, finishing at +26 [98]. However, Peter Rosen and Steven McMullen weren’t far behind, both posting scores of +27 [99].

Mark Smith showcased his skills once again, finishing with an impressive score of -3 [69], outclassing Hendra Wijaya who finished at +1 [73].
