The GlobalGolf.com National Player of the Year Winners were announced at the conclusion of the North American Championships and Senior North American Championships that finished in the last week of September and were hosted in Myrtle Beach, SC. 11 Player of the Year winners were crowned for their accomplishments against players from across the country. The GlobalGolf.com National Player of the Year Races were calculated by using each players best 2 Local Events, 1 Elevated Event, 3 National Majors, Local Finals, and North American Championship (SR North American Championship for SR Awards). The GlobalGolf.com National Player of the Year races were designed to test and measure how players fared on the biggest stages on the Amateur Players Tour, where players would travel from all parts of the country to compete at some of the biggest and toughest venues.
Each winner received a $1,000 USGA Max Season Long Prize Package that included a $500 Gift Card from our presenting sponsors Worldwide Golf and GlobalGolf.com, plus some awesome National Player of the Year Travel Gear from Projekt with some serious bragging rights.
