The 2024 Pendleton Spring Open featured 58 Golfers across 5 Divisions. Intermittent Showers was the theme of the day but overall a comfortable day overall. Sean Heath ($140) added another Division 1 Victory and increased his Player of the Year Lead by shooting a 3 Over 75 with 3 birdies enroute to a comfortable victory.
PJ Zenewicz ($180) cruised to a 4 shot victory (76) in Division 2 over Kendall Price ($60) of Arkansas. Bryan Patterson, Buzz Buzinski and Chris Wright finished 5 back with 81s in 3rd Place.
Persistence pays off for Mike Shaw ($225) as he earned his first ever APT Victory and crushed his personal scoring record by 9 shots. The winning margin was 3 shots (76) over runner ups, New comer, Chris Idip ($90), and Chase Hatcher($90). 4th Place ($60) was Chuck Nimmo and Emmett Smith ($35) captured 5th. Mike Shaw ($192) also captured the Open Net Title. AC Rendon earned $80 for his 2nd place Net and Chase Hatcher earned $48 for third.
AC Rendon ($140) captured his second consecutive Division 4 Title by 4 shots over Russell Eustice ($40).
James Sims($165) continued his winning ways in Division 5 with another victory (90) by 5 shots over Ed Harlow ($55)
Shawn Ashby and Ed Harlow tied for the Senior Net Title with Ashby taking home the trophy by a match of cards. They each earned $172.50 for sharing the title. George Ross and James Sims tied for 3rd earning $57.50 each.
