Tournament Champions
The Charleston Amateur Players Tour closed its 2025 season with the Local Final Championship on Saturday at Wyboo Golf Club in Manning, SC.
Nestled in the western edge of the Lowcountry, Wyboo Golf Club lies adjacent to and meanders through Deercreek Plantation and across the road from Wyboo Plantation, two exquisite, gated resort communities.
Wyboo Golf Club is a Tom Jackson Signature Course, which opened in October 1999. Having steadily grown in popularity and respect, it reached acclaim in 2003 when the sports editor of the State Newspaper of Columbia, SC, named it one of the Top 10 golf courses available to the public in the state of South Carolina.
The course features spacious fairways, but requires precise approach shots into the greens, as bunkers and hazards sit nearby waiting to catch an errant shot.
The event served as the season finale for the Charleston Amateur Players Tour. Over the past year, the tour has traveled across the Lowcountry of South Carolina, along with portions of Georgia, offering golfers of all skill levels a chance to compete across five different divisions, along with senior divisions as well.
Following play on Saturday, the tour also crowned players of the year in each division, part of the tour’s season long points battle. The players of the year in each division received a $1,000 prize package, including a Vessel backpack, Vessel golf bag, SWAG head cover, and 2026 membership to the tour.
