2025 Nashville Golf Trail at Montgomery Bell Tournament Results

    APT Nashville finally was able to get back to Montgomery Bell Golf Course in Burns. Previously, this tournament was scheduled to be played in the early part of this season but torrential rains over the course of a couple of days forced us to reschedule. 97 players was able to be compete for over $3,750 in division and net competitions as well as over $2,300 in additional side games.  

    A special congratulations to JOHN MARSHALL with his HOLE-IN-ONE #4! He is a member of the Bushell Hole-in-One club and wins $500 and a Bushnell rangefinder. CONGRATS! 

    In Division 1, Winchester’s Nathan Calahan scored the two-stroke victory with his low round of the tournament: two-under round of 69. Burn’s Matt Mitchell posts an even par round of 71 to take 2nd place. 

    In Division 2, Clarksville’s Lee Busey capitalized on his 5 birdies to capture the win. Busey finished the round at one-under 70 to best 2nd place finisher, Cumberland City’s John Stinson and his round of two-over 73. Firing a four-over 75 and taking 3rd place was Clarksville’s Jeff Carnacchi. A host of 3 players split the 4th & 5th place prizes with their rounds of five-over 76: Dickson’s Lowe Prescott, Nashville’s Jake Swiacki and Columbia’s Will Norman. 

    In Division 3, Ashland City’s Alex Richardson grabs the one-stroke victory over Kentucky chapter’s Bob Bristow. Richardson finished his day with 3-over 74 to best Bristow’s four-over 75. Centerville’s TJ Tidwell finished alone in 3rd place with his round of six-over 77. One stroke back in 4th place was Dickson’s Todd Choate. Rounding out the prize pool finishers was Portland’s Kaleb Wilson and his round of 79. 

    In Division 4, Murfreesboro’s Joe Berry’s splendid play scores him the four-stroke victory over guest Kermit Fessler from Casselberry, FL. Berry’s 11 pars and one birdie led the way in his round of six-over 77. Fessler finished his day at ten-over 81. 

    In Division 5, Lewisburg’s Aaron Hobbs and Spring Hill’s Rob Fessler finished regulation tied for 1st place. In the playoff, Hobbs prevailed on the 1st hole to win 1st place. Hobbs and Fessler both posted rounds of +14 85. Spring Hill’s Christopher Miller finished one back at 86 to take sole possession of 3rd place.  

    In Open Net, Division 3’s Alex Richardson capitalizes on his win in the open contest to take 1st place in the open net competition with his NET round of 64! Todd Choate from Dickson takes 2nd place with net 67. 

    In Senior Net, Division 3’s Bob Bristow posts net 62 and bests Dickson’s John Marshall by one stroke! Gallatin’s Micah Rodriguez takes 3rd place with net 66.

All these games and outcomes were determined by the number of common holes completed.
