2025 NSH/MEM TN Golf Trail at Paris Landing Tournament Results

    Paris Landing State Park in Buchanan was the latest venue for competition on the Amateur Players Tour. The joint event with the Memphis chapter garnered 78 players across 5 divisions were in competition for tournament trophies and a prize pool north of $3,200 as well as side games prizes close to $2,100. It was a beautiful day for a golf tournament!  

    In Division 1, Matt Crowder, from the Tennessee East chapter, captures his 2nd TN Golf Trial course victory on the Nashville schedule with a five-stroke win over Murfreesboro’s Robert Sain and Memphis chapter member, Derek Joslin.  

    In Division 2, 28 players battled and Smyrna’s Eric Fleming came out on-top by one stroke over Oakland’s William Morris. Finishing in 3rd place was Smyrna’s Greg Wyatt. Spring Hill’s Matt Lyndoe takes the 4th place prize.  In a 5th place tie was Murfreesboro’s Michael Osborne and Hendersonville’s Sonny Beachy. 

    In Division 3, the 27-player field turned into a tightly-contested race, all the way to the last hole.  Brentwood’s Will Houston squeezed out a one-stroke victory over Centerville’s TJ Tidwell.  Finishing in a 3rd place tie was Brentwood’s Chris Guthrie and Mt. Juliet’s Jason Massey.  Rounding out the the prize pool winners in a 5th place tie was Brentwood’s James Newkirk and Dickson’s Todd Choate. 

    In Division 4, Nolensville’s Stephen Geltch captures his 1st victory of the season by three strokes over a host of golfers, who finished in a tie for 2nd place. Those players were Chapel Hill’s Dusty Nowlin, Cordova’s Darrel Ervin and Nate Guyton from Memphis. 

    In Division 5, Goodlettsville’s Jim Rutherford posted his best round in his APT career to win going-away by six strokes.  Two players finished in a tie for 2nd place: Nashville’s Joe Smolira and Charlotte’s Jimmy Murphy.  

    In Open Net, Division 3’s Alex Richardson takes the win by 3 strokes over Division 2’s John Bean.  Richardson finished at net 3-under and Bean scored a net even par round to claim 2nd place. 

    In Senior Net, Jim Rutherford capitalizes on his Division 5 blowout win to also capture the Senior Net trophy with a six-stroke NET win OVER Division 2 winner, Eric Fleming. Division 3’s Chris Guthrie grabs a 3rd place finish while Joe Smolira (Division 5), Lewisburg’s Bryan Harwell (Division 3) and Chris Randolph (Division 2) split the 4th place prize.
