    We had a SOLD-OUT event of 56 players competing at Salem Glen CC. The players were invited with fall-like conditions for the weather in the high 50’s. The course was in fantastic shape and if you are in Winston Salem, it’s a must play. 

    In Division 1, John Masotti returns to his form from 2024 as he picks up his 1st win in 2025. Masotti carded a 76(+5) to win by 1 shot over Jeff Helms. Helms played steady and picked up the win in Senior Double Dip.  

    Congratulations John and Jeff! 

     In Division 2 we had solid performance from several players. Scott Nichols of Mooresville, NC played the most consistent throughout the round. Nichols down the stretch made key birdie to pull a 3 shot victory both Open/Senior Double Dip. In the runner- up postion for both Open/Senior Double Dip was Terry Newsome. Nichols carded a round of 74(+3) and Terry Newsome carded a round of 77(+6)

    In Division 3 Nick Stephens of Indian Land birdie the last hole to card a round of 81(+10) to tie with Timmy Smith of Graham, NC and take match in sudden palyoff. The playoff victory goes to Nick Stephens. Division 3 had the largest field of the day, 3rd place goes to Gary Nivens of Huntersville. The 4th place goes to Jason Smith of Tobaccoville, NC. Nivens secures the Senior Double Dip win with a round of 85(+14). Derek Marley and Kelly Hopkins take T2 in Senior Double Division.  

    Congratulations Nick Stephens and Gary Nivens !! 

    In Division 4 ,Cedric Price of High Point, NC played very well to capture victory. Price cards a round of 83(+12) to win by 4 shots. In the runner-up postion was Steven Farmer of High Point, NC with a round of 87(+16). Farmer wins the Senior Double Dip Division with that score. 

    Congratulations Cedric and Steven!   

    In Division 5 we had change of scenery for a group down from Pennsylvania making a “Southern trip to the Carolinas”. Out of that bunch we Zach Plude of Bensalem, PA take victory with a round of 92(+21). In the runner-up postions was the 2024 National POY picking up where she left off, Rivia Brown cards a round of 94(+23) but secures the Senior Double Dip victory.
