We had a SOLD-OUT event of 52 players competing at Stoney Creek CC. The players were invited with spring-like conditions for the weather in the high 70’s. The course was in fantastic shape and if you are in the Burlington area, it’s a must play.
In Division 1, Kyle Moffett returns to his tour this year as he picks up his 1st win in 2025. Moffett carded a 72(+1) to win by 1 shot over Coston Fogleman.

In Division 2 we had a tale of nine holes players. Terry Newsome and J Combs both shot 42 on the front. Both players made their turn and got hot. Newsome shot 33(-2) on the back to hold off J Combs 35(E) to win by 2 shots. Terry won both the Open and Senior contest. Combs takes 2nd place for open.

In Division 3 Pat Ryan of Myrtle Beach and Warren Hackler both carded a round of 81(+10) to take match in sudden playoff. The playoff victory goes to Pat Ryan after a birdie on the 2nd playoff hole. Hackler takes 2nd place. In Division 3 had the largest field of the day, 3rd place goes to Timmy Smith of Graham, NC. The 4th place was a 3way tie between Derek Marley, James Shoemaker and Jose Nelson Sanchez.

In Division 4, Thomas Gibson of Huntersville, NC played very well to capture victory. Gibson cards a round of 82(+11) to win by 9 shots. In the runner-up position was Rivia Brown of Winston Salem, NC with a round of 91(+20). Gibson wins the Senior Double Dip Division with that score.

In Division 5 we had another playoff between Terry Bollenbecker and Don Warling. The players carded rounds of 97(+26). The players both took back out to the course for a sudden match. The results ended with Terry Bollenbecker with a bogey on the first hole to win the event. Bollenbecker also wins Senior Double Dip
