We had 47 players competing atPinewood CC. The players were invited with spring-like conditions for the weather in the high 70’s. The course was in fantastic shape and if you are in Asheboro area, it’s a must play.
In Division 1, we had 2 players card a 75(+3) to tie for 1st place at the end of 18 holes. John Masotti and Coston Fogleman headed to a playoff. The playoff lasted 6 holes after each player made par on the first 5 holes. On the 6th hole Coston carded his 6th playoff par to take victory!!

In Division 2 we had solid performance from Reidsville John Wayne Parrish. Parrish carded a 75(+3) to win by 2 shots over Brandon Mabe’s 77(+5). The top 3 was Sean Kim and Terry Newsome. Parrish also won the double dip contest.

In Division 3 we had new player in the winner circle. Eric Sage kept his round in single digits with a round of 79(+7). In 2nd place Nolan Elenz and Timmy Smith carded rounds of 83 (+11). In the Senior Double Dip division Myron Samuels emerged victorious! Congratulations Eric and Myron!
In Division 4 Calvin Carter secure the victory by 1 shots over Lane Abernathy. Carter carded a score of 90(+18) to win both the open and Senior Double Dip title!

In Division 5 we had 8 players competing for the title at Pinewood CC. It was Billy Jones Archdale, NC with a score of 94(+22) to win his second event in a row. In the runner up position was Keith Thomas of Greensboro, NC Congratulations Billy!
