As its last tournament of the 2025 calendar year, the Upstate Amateur Players Tour traveled to Clemson on Saturday for a tournament at the university’s infamous Walker Course.
The Walker Course at Clemson University is set along the banks of Lake Hartwell, just a short walk from the center of campus. Recognized by the South Carolina Golf Association as one of the best courses in the state, the layout combines scenic views with a challenging design that appeals to a wide range of players.
Designed by D.J. DeVictor, the par-72 course features Diamond Zoysia greens and Bermuda fairways. Multiple teeing options allow the course to be set up for both beginners and low-handicap golfers. The Walker Course was recently named “Best You Can Play” by the South Carolina Golf Panel, adding to its list of statewide honors.
