Lebanon Country Club was a great day of competition, and the course was in spectacular shape for the event. The day kicked off with a shotgun start of 49 players through the 5 Divisions.
Division 1
Six Competitors were in the Division to battle it out for the trophy. Carson Hummer (Hershey, Pa) closed the show with a stellar round of –3 under (69). His round included 4 birdies and 1 eagle on the Par 5 of hole 7. Gunner Redmond (Lock Haven, PA) finished 2nd with +2 (74).
Division 2
There were 11 players for Division 2, and it was a battle decided by only 1 stroke. At the end of the day the victor was Paul Hess (Lincoln University, PA) with a final of +1 (73). Hess was able to edge out thevictory by 1 stroke over Reed Drury (Willow Street, PA). Drury finished his day with +2 (74).
Division 3
14 Competitors entered the fray in Division 3. Skylar Holmes (Elizabethtown, PA) came out firing and didn’t let off the gas till he was assured of victory. He crossed the finish line at +6 (78) to beat the divisionby 3 strokes. Michael Bertazon came in 2nd at +9 (81). Stan Lynch finished at +10 (82).
Division 4
D4 went out with 12 Players in the field. When the smoke cleared, the winner was Michael Haas (Camp Hill, PA) with a final of +12 (84) to best the field by 3 strokes. 2nd place was tied between Barry Myers(Newville, PA) and J.P. Perron (Manheim, PA) with a +15 (87) for the day.
Division 5
The winner of the day for D5, out of a field of 5 players, was Jeremiah Cassidy (Ephrata, PA). Cassidy finished the day with +20 (92) to win the trophy and points. 2nd place went to Jeff Brodsky scoring 98 for the round.
Mid-Am Net
Skylar Holmes (Elizabethtown, PA) took home the Mid-Am Net trophy with a stellar round of –5 (67) Net. This was Skylar’s second trophy of the day. Second place was earned by Tyler Davis (Dillsburg, PA) with a total of -4 (68). Third place went to Jeremiah Cassidy (Ephrata, PA) with a final of –2 (70).
Senior Net
Lightning struck twice with Paul Hess for his second trophy of the day in the Senior Net (50+) Division. His final in the net calculation was –3, total of 69. J.P. Perron (Manheim, PA) and Stan Lynch also had a final of –3 but the winner was decided by scorecard playoff to seal the deal for Hess.
