This past weekend’s APT tournament at Towhee Golf Club in Spring Hill, TN, brought together golfers of all skill levels for two days of competitive play and camaraderie amid typical early-March weather. 146 golfers spread over 5 divisions competed for Player of the Year points and prizes.
🏆 Division 1 Recap
The top three were tightly packed behind a standout winning round from Mitchell, with just four strokes separating first and third place.
🥇 1st Place – Matt Mitchell (Nashville)

After finishing tied for the lead at +10, he secured the victory on the first playoff hole, chipping in for birdie to clinch the title in thrilling fashion.

Jimmy Murphy (Nashville) secured solo second after posting a 90 (+20), while Shannon Sageser (Chapter Owners) rounded out the top three with a 92 (+22).
