The Western Kentucky Chapter of Amateur Players Tour was hosted by Paxton Park Golf Course on April 11th, and our sincerest appreciation to Danny and his staff for their hospitality and providing an excellent venue to compete on. In Division 1, Kobe Allen and Rodney Jackson battled to a tie after 72 holes. In the sudden death playoff, Rodney closed with a victory on the second playoff hole. Division 2 was a battle all day, with Connor Gates securing his second win carding a 73, beating out Dallas Gates and Josh DeJarnette. Mike Paubel carded an 87 claiming the Division 3 title over Chase Runyon. Nick Johnson won his first ever amateur event in Division 4, shooting an 85, winning by 3 shots over Stevie Frank. Mark Smith continues to dominate Division 5, shooting an 85, beating Michelle Martino and Jeromy Slayden. The Mid-Am Net title was claimed by Nick Johnson who finished even on the day, recording his second ever win, Kobe Allen who was 2 shots back. Mark Smith shot a 7 under round of 64 to win the Senior Net trophy easily over Mike Paubel. Congratulations to all the Paxton Park Champions!
