THE NEUSE GOLF COURSE

WOW!! The golf course played very tough. We had only 2 players in the field break 80. The firm and fast fairways/greens were the talk of the field.

In Division 1 Tim Washburn captures victory by 1 shot over Ivan Jones with a +9(81). This was Washburn first victory of the season.

In Division 2, J Combs is making a run for Local player of the year but a tremendous case for a National Player of the year with his 2nd victory of the year. Combs shot +7(79).

In Division 3, Elijah Brown local controlled the pace of the tournament with other round in the 70s. Brown +7(79) was good enough to win Division 3.

In Division 4 Daniel Henris squeaks by with a victory over Wayne Bishop by 1shot. Henris +16(88) was solid enough for victory.

In Division 5, FIREWORKS!!! Playoff was needed with Cal Rogers and Ken Hansley +21(93). In the first playoff hole Rogers takes the victory.
