The first tournament of the 2025 Kentucky Amateur Players Tour (APT) took place at Winchester Country Club and the fall weather could not have been better to get the season started.
In Division One Josh Earnest 2024 Kentucky POY carded a two under par back nine to to shoot even par and win by two shots over Junho Won.
Lindy Sullivan shot a round of 78 in Division Two to pick up the win over Chris Harris and James Keith both of whom finished tied with a round of 80.
Greg Goff of Crab Orchard KY shot 81 to win Division Three over Paul Wingate of Frankfort KY who shot 82 and Gary Barrow of Richmond KY who shot 83.
Tour newcomer and Cincinnati/Dayton member Todd Courtney of Florence KY shot 91 in his first APT tournament to take the win in Division 4 by 3 shot over Greg Brown and Mike Osbourn who both shot 94.
Gregg Centers ran away with Division 5 shooting 88 to win by 10 shot over 2024 Division 5 POY Lisa Moore and 12 shots over Troy Babcock of the Indy Tour.
Chris Harris and James Keith went a playoff to determine the winner of SR Division 2. They both finished the day tied at 80. Chris Harris prevailed on the 2nd playoff hole to win SR Division 2.
Paul Wingate took the win in SR Division 3 by one shot with a round of 82.
Greg Brown took SR Division 4 with a round of 94.
Next stop for the Kentucky Tour is the Fall Stapleford tournament on Monday October 28 at the NCR North Course.
