2025 Cincinnati/Dayton/Columbus Miami Valley Golf Club Tournament Results

The Columbus/Central OH and Cincinnati/Dayton Amateur Players Tour’s came together for a joint tournament at Dayton’s Donald Ross Classic Miami Valley Golf Club. 

Kevin Wajert from Cincinnati/Dayton, playing in his first tournament after being promoted from Division 2, captured the win in Division 1 with a round of 78. Troy Boswell from the Columbus chapter took second with a round of 80, followed by Cincinnati/Dayton member Braydon Bottles at 81. 

Travis Souders visiting from the Kentucky Chapter shot a round of 75 to win Division 2 over Columbus member, Chip Schneider, who shot 80. General Fernbach and Rick Williamson tied for third in Division Two, each shooting 84. 

Division 3 also went to a visiting Kentucky member, Ian Copperthite, who shot 80 to top Kain Ransome of the Columbus chapter at 82 and Frank Machesky at 83. 

Steve Michael (Cincinnati/Dayton) picked up his first win of 2025 with a round of 87 to claim Division 4; 2 shots over John Sherman (Columbus) at 89 and Bob Lawless (Columbus) at 90. 

Division 5 came down to a playoff between Troy Babcock (Indianapolis) and Kristie Souders (Kentucky) who both finished the round at +22. Babcock took the win on the first playoff hole. Raymond Kleinholz (Cincinnati/Dayton) took third in Division 5.
