Today’s tournament at Diamond Springs Golf Club in Hamilton, Michigan was a demanding test from start to finish. The course required patience, smart decision-making, and steady execution, with players needing to stay disciplined throughout the round. Wind played a noticeable role during the day, adding to the challenge and making consistency even more valuable.

Scoring opportunities were limited, and those who avoided big numbers and managed their rounds well were able to rise to the top. Staying composed and minimizing mistakes proved to be the difference as players navigated a layout that rewarded patience.

In Division 1, Tyler Roede emerged as the winner with a score of +8 (80), putting together a composed round to lead his division.

Division 2 saw Gabe Cabasaan take the top spot with a score of +21 (93), staying steady throughout the day.

Division 3 was highlighted by Tyler Fielding, who not only won his division but also posted the best round of the day at +6 (78). He also captured the Mid Am Net title.

Division 4 winner Jason Overmyer carded a +21 (93), securing his division with a consistent effort.

Division 5 winner Jack Huminsky finished with a +27 (99), rounding out the day’s division champions. He also earned the Senior Net title.

Overall, it was a day that rewarded patience, control, and consistency across all divisions at Diamond Springs Golf Club.

A special thank you to Diamond Springs Golf Club for hosting the event and providing some of the best hospitality we have experienced so far this year. The staff and course conditions helped make for a well-run and memorable tournament.
