    Timbergate GC (ELEVATED)

The Indianapolis Amateur Players Tour made its way to Timbergate Golf Course in Edinburgh, Indiana, for one of the most anticipated events of the season. With a double prize pool and double points on the line, competitors knew every shot mattered. Under sunny skies and perfect playing conditions, Timbergate once again proved why it is regarded as one of Indiana’s premier public golf facilities. Designed by Fuzzy Zoeller and Clyde Johnston, the links-style layout features bentgrass fairways and greens, strategic bunkering, numerous water hazards, and multiple teeing grounds that challenge golfers of every skill level.

The weather was spectacular, but the scoring was even brighter as players battled for valuable points in the Indianapolis APT Player of the Year race.

    Division 1

Division 1 saw the return of a familiar face to the winner’s circle as Blake Claycomb fired a brilliant 3-under-par 69. Claycomb’s steady ball striking and clutch putting were the difference as he held off a determined challenge from Zach Ricketts throughout the day.

Ricketts stayed within striking distance from the opening tee shot to the final putt, posting an impressive even-par 72 to finish runner-up. Nolan Mishler claimed third place with a solid 75, while Barney Sutley rounded out the top four with a 76.
