Seattle Closes the 2026 Season at The Home Course
The Seattle chapter wrapped up its 2026 local season at The Home Course on Sunday, with the Local Finals providing one last opportunity to earn a win, make a move in the standings and settle the season-long Player of the Year races.
From a walk-off eagle on No. 18 to a must-win performance with a POY title hanging in the balance, the season finale delivered plenty of drama before the final trophies of the year were decided.
Division 1
Jeremy Kim finished the Seattle season the same way he spent much of it: at the top.
Kim carded a 3-over 75 at The Home Course to earn the Division 1 victory by four shots over John Thayer. The win also put the finishing touch on Kim’s season as he officially secured the 2026 Seattle Division 1 Player of the Year title.
It was a fitting finish for the D1 POY, closing the local schedule with another trip to the winner’s circle.
Division 2
The finish of the day belonged to Alex Bacevicius.
With the tournament still up for grabs on the 18th hole, Bacevicius holed out from the fairway for eagle to stun the field and take the Division 2 title by a single stroke. The dramatic finish gave Bacevicius a 1-over 73, edging Alex Lee’s 74.
Corey Bayless and Kevin Murray finished tied for third at 6-over 78, and that finish proved especially important for Murray. His T3 was enough to secure the 2026 Seattle Division 2 Player of the Year title.
Division 3
DK Kotwal entered the Local Finals on a three-event winning streak and made it four straight before the season was over.
Kotwal shot a 7-over 79 to claim the Division 3 title by four strokes over Nick Girard, who finished second with an 83. The victory capped an impressive late-season run for Kotwal and moved him into second place in the final season standings.
Girard, however, had already built the body of work he needed. His runner-up finish secured the Division 3 Player of the Year title for the third consecutive season.
Division 4
Division 4 came down to a simple scenario for Harsha Yellamareddygari: win the Local Finals or watch the season-long title go elsewhere.
He delivered.
Yellamareddygari posted an 8-over 80 to win the tournament by four strokes over Ghanshyam Patel and, in the process, jumped to the top of the standings to claim the 2026 Seattle Division 4 Player of the Year title.
With everything riding on the final event, Yellamareddygari produced exactly the result he needed.
Division 5
Jeffery Green left no doubt in Division 5.
Green shot a 16-over 88 and won the Local Finals by nine strokes over Michael Maxted. It marked Green’s third consecutive tournament victory, completing a late-season run that also secured the 2026 Seattle Division 5 Player of the Year title.
Pete Valladares rounded out the top three with a 100.
Mid-Am Net
Bacevicius wasn’t finished after his dramatic Division 2 victory.
He also turned in the best Mid-Am Net round of the day, firing a 5-under net 67 to complete the Local Finals sweep. Alex Lee finished second at 3-under, while Jeremy Kim posted an even-par 72 for third.
The season-long title went to Kristian Alexander, who finished the year as the 2026 Seattle Mid-Am Net Player of the Year.
Senior Net
The Senior Net competition needed a tiebreaker after Harsha Yellamareddygari and Ghanshyam Patel both finished at 4-under net 68.
The scorecard playoff went to Patel, giving him the final Senior Net trophy of the Seattle season.
The Player of the Year race was nearly as close. Mark Hewitt did enough at The Home Course to hold off Lee Martin by just 3.5 points, securing the 2026 Seattle Senior Net Player of the Year title.
