On a hot and steamy Sunday afternoon the scores were heating up as well. In Division 2 Tyler Roberts went low with 5 birdies on the day and followed up a great 1 under 35 on the front with a 38 on the back to close with a 1 over 73. This was Tyler’s second win. There was a three way tie for second at 80 between Brad Herpolsheimer, Ryan Auck, and Austin Decot.
In Division 3 Adam Kohler and Ed Ruper had a good battle all day long. Both shot 38 on the front and then battled down the stretch on the back. With a 1 shot lead playing 17 Adam birdied the par 3 17th while Ed parred. Ed then just lipped out a birdie putt on 18. Adam two putted for bogey to shoot a winning score of 79. Ed Ruper posted 80 for second.
In Division 4 Chris Berry had the round of his life shooting a 2 over par 74. This is the first time Chris has ever broken 80. Chris parred the last 9 holes in shooting an even par 36 on the back. Johnny Sherman played solid all day in shooting an 84 for second place. Robert Lawless took third with an 86.
In Division 5 Chad Lowe also shot a career low round of 83. After an average start of 46 on the front Chad had 2 birdies on the back and posted a 37. Chad played the last 4 holes 1 under par while clinging to a small lead. Zachary Walker also had a terrific round in shooting 85 for second place. Terry Collins finished in 3rd place with a 91.
In the side games Chris Berry posted a 7 under 65 to beat Adam Kohler by 2 (67) in the mid am net game.
In senior net Robert Lawless held off Brad Herpolsheimer and Doc Sherman with a net 72. Both Brad and Doc shot a net 76.
