Tim Harbin is the Local Chapter Owner for the Atlanta and Birmingham chapters of the Amateur Players Tour. He joined the tour as a player in 2021 when it expanded nationally and quickly connected with the competitive format and the community around it. Tim began running events in 2022, first in Atlanta and later expanding into Birmingham. He focuses on consistent, well-run tournaments and creating a welcoming experience for players across both markets. Outside of golf, Tim works as a civil engineer in the oil and gas industry. He started playing in high school and credits the game for many of the friendships and opportunities he’s had over the years. Running APT events has been a way for him to give back to the game and the people who have been part of his journey.
