Mark Gonzalez is the Chapter Owner for the Houston chapter of the Amateur Players Tour. He served four years in the United States Army and spent 33 years in the chemical manufacturing industry, working in roles ranging from Operations to Shipping Superintendent. He completed his career as Turnaround Maintenance Superintendent before retiring in 2024. Mark has been involved with the APT since its beginning as a player. In the fall of 2023, he stepped into the role of Chapter Owner for Houston. He and his wife, Laura, run the chapter together, focusing on creating the best experience possible for local APT players through organized events, clear communication, and a welcoming community.
