Dan Ayers continued his win streak in Division 1, shooting a one over par 71 posting a four-stroke win over Chris Meares. Ayers has posted notice that the road to any win in D1 comes through him.
Division 2 was a close match. John O’Brien set the pace early with an opening 37, but he took the long road home on hole number leaving David Ayers, Rocky Dare and Gil Moniz to fight it out. Ayers came in with a sparkling 36, posting a winning score of 78 to make it an Ayers parlay.
Steve Winnick took it to the field with two birdies in the first 6 holes to take an early lead but a stumble on number 6 opened the door for Ed Gilbert and DFan Kessler to take the front nine lead with scores of 38. Winnick opened uo the back nine lie he started the show going two under for the first four holes. Pete Farina drafted alongside posting four Par’s to open the back on his way to a splendid 37 that left him one shot short of Winnick and Gilbert who tied for first with 77’s. They went to the first hole for a playoff with Winnick looking to continue his birdie barrage, but it was Gilbert posting his first birdie of the day ot take the win.
John Dworniczak and Kermitt Bowen opened the action in Division 4 with halves of 37 and 39. On a day with a lot of strong play in division four, the duo set themselves apart with their fast starts. John D finished the deal with a final score of 80 becoming a multi-time winner in 2022.
In Division 5, Fred Hering shot an 89 to add to nis shelf full of 2022 trophies. He is the D5 King of the Mountain looking to take on all comers.
