The River Golf Club welcomed Amateur Players Tour members and guests to North Augusta, SC. The weather called for precipitation, but the players were able to get in the tournament. It was hot and overcast, but overall a great tournament! A big APT thank you to Chris Verdery and his staff for hosting our tournament.
In Division 1 from Lexington, SC James Gibson shot +4 (75) earning his first APT win this year. Congratulations James!
In Division 2 all the way from Georgetown, Kentucky James Heath shot +13 (84) earning his third win this year. Great playing James! In his first tournament of the year William Fambrough from Evans, GA took home second place with +15 (86).
In Division 3 from Grovetown, GA Brian Williams shot a smooth +11 (82). This is Brian’s first win of the 2021 season. Great playing Brian! He edged out Jeff Johnston +12 (83) from Evans, GA.
In Division 4 from Evans, GA David Biggs +12 (83) wins his first tournament of the year. Way to go David! Devin Mitchem + 18 (89) from Evans, GA brought home second.
In Division 5 Derek Kemp +22 (93) from Rock Hill, SC picks up his third APT win on the year. Way to go Derek! Coming in second place was Mark Maddox +24 (95) from Evans, GA.
