North Hills Country Club Results

Monday May 10th, 2021 brings us to Tour Stop #3 on the Amateur Players Tour- Metro NY.

North Hills Country Club in Manhasset New York is another gem designed by renowned course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. What started out as a dreary rainy morning ended up being a beautiful day with sunshine and laughs for the golfers. Let us see how they did!

Division 1: Playing from the tips, with his second victory in as many tournaments Luke Walters (82) took home first place just edging out Michael Felton (84), Rounding out the top 3 was Vic Tandon (89)

Division 2: Another player claiming his second victory in the first 3 tournaments Lance Singer (79) secured first place just beating out Brian Gallahue (81) James Miller (81) and Jesse Rosenstock (81). Was a tight race throughout but congratulations to Mr Singer who in the end stood alone at the top!

Division 3: Just 3 strokes separated the top 5 players here in division 3 but it was Stephen Phieffer (84) winning his first tournament of the year! Second place was split by Sam Baichoo (86) and Greg Jackman (86) while Justin Keiser (87) and Xavier Emanuele (87) took a share of third!

Division 4: Another first time champion in 2021, Kermit Bowen(88) who felt the heat from Eddie "Blade" Rodriguez (89) all day! Just four strokes back taking home a share of 3rd place were Anthony Caraccio(92) and Peter Murray(92). Congratulations Mr Bowen on your first trophy of the year!

Division 5: Another close race, as 4 strokes was the difference between spots 1-6 ! Sean Tavel (97) from the Virginia Capital Tour, was in sole possession of first place when all was said and done, as Steven Mcdonald (99) just was not able to catch him! Jeff Rothenberg (100) and John Balingit (100) took a share of 3rd place

We hope to see everyone at our first major of the season, a two day 36 hole tournament at the beautiful Turning Stone Resort in Verona New York on May 22nd and 23rd!
