Tournament Champions
The Legacy Golf Course in Springfield provided a true test for the Amateur Players Tour Nashville chapter on Saturday, March 28. Players battled through challenging early-spring conditions featuring cool temperatures, swirling winds, speedy greens, and tough pin placements—demanding precision and patience across all divisions.
Division 1
JP Brown emerged victorious with a round of 80 (+8), edging out RJ Foltz by a single stroke. With the difficult conditions and slick greens, Brown relied on consistency—carding an impressive 14 pars and closing his round with four straight pars to lock up the win.
Division 2
Tim Ewing claimed the Division 2 title with a steady 78 (+6), finishing two shots clear of Lee Busey. Avoiding big numbers proved to be the difference, as Ewing managed his round with discipline from start to finish. Jason Hinton and Branden Mortensen tied for third at 83 (+11).
Division 3
Matt Love delivered one of the standout performances of the day, winning Division 3 with a 79 (+7). His round featured 9 one-putts, 4 birdies, and a steady back nine that avoided big mistakes to secure a four-shot victory over Madison Murphy. Dusty Nowlin finished third, while Aaron Smith, David Hackney, and Jason Massey shared fourth.
Division 4
Kyle Neblett captured the Division 4 title with an 83 (+11), using consistent play across both nines to separate himself from the field. Christian Carpenter and Thomas Jones II rounded out the top three.
Division 5
Brandon Jarrell secured the Division 5 victory with a 90 (+18), building enough momentum on the front nine to hold on for a one-stroke win over Wyatt Lovell. Jesse Argenbright finished third.

Mid-Am Net Division
Kyle Neblett completed the double-dip, winning the Mid-Am Net title with an even-par 72—good for a two-shot victory.
Senior Net Division
Matt Love also doubled up on the day, capturing the Senior Net title with a 71 (-1) to go along with his Division 3 win.
Matt, how did you carry that momentum into the net competition and go under par?

Another memorable event for the Nashville chapter, with players battling tough conditions and rising to the occasion. Congratulations to all our winners!
The APT Nashville chapter will be back to it in three weeks at Montgomery Bell on Saturday, April 18th.
