Streamsong Resort Golf Tournament Results

Last weekend, the Amateur Players Tour held the Streamsong Classic at Streamsong Resort in Bowling Green, FL. Streamsong is touted as one of the top golf resorts in the country and the world. Situated amid 16,000 acres of stunning scenery and hushed seclusion in Central Florida, Streamsong is a one-of-a-kind golf destination created in complete harmony with its natural surroundings. You experience the only place in the world with Coore/Crenshaw, Doak, and Hanse/Wagner designed courses in the same location 

In Division 1, Eric King came out of the gates hot! Round 1, on the Red course, Eric shot an unbelievable five under-par. For round 2 Eric shot two over-par to finish three under-par for the tournament. Chris Hatfield had a great event shooting two over-par for round one and shot even par for round 2 to finish two over-par. Hot on his heels was our Carolina Triad Chapter Owner Ivan Jones. Ivan shot two over-par for round one and two over-par for round 2 to finish four over-par. 

Division 1 Results: 

1. Eric King: -3 TOT 
2. Chris Hatfield: +2 TOT
3. Ivan Jones: +4 TOT 

In Division 2, we had quite the battle going on within the division after the first round. However, Vick Tandon was the one to come out on top. Vick shot seven over-par for round one and five over par for round two finishing twelve over-par for the tournament. Mac McMilan came in second just one shot behind Vick shooting ten over-par for round one and a phenomenal three over par for round two finishing thirteen over-par. Buzz Buzinski and James Hancock finished tied for third at 15 over-par for the tournament. 

Division 2 Results: 

1. Vick Tandon: +12 TOT 
2. Mac McMilan: +13 TOT 

T3. Buz Buzinski: +15 TOT 

T3: James Hancock: +15 TOT 

In Division 3, Warren Hackler was able to put two great rounds together. Warren shot four over-par for round 1 and four over-par for round 2 giving him the a big win in Division 3 and earning a promotion to Division 2. Clarence Smith of Alexandria, VA came in second place shooting seven over-par for round one and seven over-par for round 2 to finish at fourteen over-par. We had a tie for third place between Christy McCauley and Gary Barrow. Both shot twenty over-par for the tournament. 

Division 3 Results: 

1. Warren Hackler: +8 TOT 
2. Clarence Smith: +14 TOT 

T3. Christy McCauley: +20 TOT 

T3. Gary Barrow: +20 

In Division 4, Chris Huge continued what he started down at the beach. Chris took home a first-place finish shooting eight over-par for round 1 and thirteen over-par for round two, earning him a promotion to Division 3. Taking home second place was Jaime Costanzo of Conway, SC. She shot eight over par for round one and sixteen over-par for round two finishing the tournament at twenty-four over par. Daniel Henris continues to find himself at the top of the leaderboard. Daniel took home third place shooting thirteen over-par for round 1 and fifteen over-par for round two finishing twenty-eight over-par.  

Division 4 Results:  

1. Chris Huge: +21 TOT 
2. Jaime Costanzo: 24 TOT 
3. Daniel Henris: +28 TOT 

In Division 5, Susan Barrow held the lead through the whole tournament. Susan had a great first day shooting fifteen over-par. She was able to hold on to the lead for round two shooting twenty-two over-par in tough conditions to finish at thrity-seven over-par. Steve Kown chalked up a top 3 finish shooting twenty-four over par for round 1 and twenty-two over-par for round 2 finishing at fourty-six over-par for the weekend.

1. Susan Barrow: +37 TOT 
2. Steve Kwon: +46 TOT
