York Country Club Golf Tournament Results

40 Golfers came out on what started as a very cold and rainy Monday morning at York.  After a 2-hour delay for inclement weather the tournament started and it did not take long for teams to start attacking a very difficult York Golf Club. 

In the Gross Division Andy Van Horn and Brian Hinkle ham and egged their way through the front nine with 8 pars and one bogey for a 37.  They then bogeyed 13 and birdied 14 to come home in 35 for a winning total of 72.  Tyler and Peter Roberts stayed close to them all day on the score board by shooting 37, 36 for 73 and second place.  Tyler was low man in the field with an impressive 74 on his own ball which included 3 birdies.  James Heath and Dylan Smith also ham and egged their way around for a 75 and third place. 

In the Net Division Jacob Russell and Shawn Monroe came out on fire net birdieing 4 of the first 5 holes and shot a team 34 on the front.  Their back nine was highlighted by two net eagles and two birdies that led to a 31 coming in and a winning score of 65.  Robert Lawless and Ray Conley had a very steady round with 6 net birdies and two bogeys which led to a 67 and 2nd place.   

There were 4 closest to the pin contests and Division 3 and Division 4 took 3 of the 4.  Tyler Roberts (Div 2), Peter Roberts (Div 4), Robert Lawless (Div 4), and Adam Kohler (Div 3) took home the Closest to the Pins at York Golf Club.
