The 2023 season has started out with 6 sell outs in a row! We had only booked course for 36 players and ended up getting more times for a total of 52 players. The Indigo State Roofing Shoot out was held at Golden Hills Golf and CC in Lexington, SC. Thanks for all your support. It is so exciting to know we were able to sell out both events so far in the Columbia/Charleston Chapter. The staff at Pine Lakes is one of the best in the Myrtle beach area for sure. Pace of Play was pretty good. We averaged 4hrs 40 mins with our fastest round of 4.05. We also had players visit from 5 APT Chapters from as far away as WV. Thanks to all that came. The weather was perfect. The prize fund was solid as well. We paid out a total of $2735 for this event. $1680 in was in the prize fund and $1060 was in Skins and Pins. We also had a 50/50 drawing and Joe Tucker won $192 and Crys Peyton won the APT Hat and Towel.
Division 1 – Winner - Chase Cline from Chapin, SC 68 (-3) 2nd win in a row. Shots -3 with a double. Kiod can play. KJ Kujawa 2nd, 76 (+5). 7 players were in Div. 1. Chase received $120 with KJ receiving $40

Division 3 was a huge field for this new chapter. 20 players started the day battling it out. It was quite a nail biter all day. Ronnie Strange (Upstate) and Jaime Bohnke (Chapin) both shot 43 on the front 9. Ronnie finished 6 groups ahead of Jaime’s group and was 4 shots back of the lead when he finished. He asked if could leave and I suggested he stay because you never know what can happen. Heading into #17,Jaime had a 3 shot lead. This was only her 2nd event playing with the Tour and I know how nervous she was. Well nerves set in and she slipped and made a double on the par 3 17th. #18 is a long par 4 uphill and plays real long for the ladies. She hit good drive but came up short with her approach. Her 3rd shot ended up about 12 ft from the hole. I am not sure how fast her heart was beating but she knew she had to make it or go to a playoff with Ronnie. Jaime drained it to get her first win on the APT with a +13 (83) Ronnie finished 1 back for 2nd. Todd Lynch (Upstate),Chris Huge (MB), Joseph Jones (Columbia) and Nestor Santana finished tied for 3rd at 86. Jaime Bohnke received $225 for her win, Ronnie Strange $110, Todd Lynch $70, Chris Huge $40
Division 4 also had 9 players playing and newcomer Grady Sightler (86)(Gaston) edged out his friend and the member who got him join, Harold Heath by 1 shot to capture the win. Harold had a 2 shot advantage at the turn but things got interesting on the back. Playing in same the same group they were tied going to #17. Grady made par to take a one shot lead into #18. They both bogeyed and Grady was the winner. Kip Moore finished 3rd at (88) and Myron Samuels took 4th (90). Grady received $140, Harold received $60.
Division 5 9 players started the day. It took an extra hole to decide the winner. Davis Hamilton (Chapin) held a 4 shot lead over eventual winner Cody Polyak (Batesburg). They ended up tied after they walked off 18. Cody won the playoff to capture is first win. Wayne Gainey (Florence) took 3rd place. Cody received $140, Davis received $60.
