2024 Forest Oaks Country Club Tournament Results

We had 53 players come to Forest Oaks CC. The players were invited with overcast weather in the 80’s before the rain came for an hour delay. The course was in fantastic shape and if you are in the High Point/Greensboro area it’s a must play. 

In Division 1, John Masotti continues his steady play to try and repeat for Local POY. Masotti has put together some solid rounds as of late and continued today’s event with 72(E) victory. The runner up position was captured by Scott Goodelle with a score of 74(+2). 

 In Division 2 we had 1 solid performance from Terry Upright of Kanapolis, NC. Upright plotted around the golf course not making many mistakes and shot his career APT low round of 73(+1). Upright won in heroic fashion by chipping for birdie on 18 to win by 1 shot. In 2^nd place was John Wayne Parrish of Reidsville and Tyler Phillips of Hickory with a score of 74(+2). Parrish also won the senior double dip contest in Division 2. 

  In Division 3 we had a solid performance from Nimish Patel. Patel seems to have pulled away after the rain delay. Patel was able to card a 78(+6) to win the event by 3 shots and win the senior double dip contest. In 2^nd place we 2 players tied with a score of 81(+9) Dan Ahlers and Trinity Manning split runner up prize. 

In Division 4 we 2 competitors that 2 players that shot 86(+14) and to take it back to the course for a playoff. Fred Carvalho and TJ Williams. The players played the first playoff hole and Williams won the event by making par on the first hole. Carvalho takes 2^nd place and wins the Senior Double Dip Division. 

 In Division 5 Rivia Brown continues her strong POY campaign and after this victory she has positioned herself to repeat for Local POY and National POY. Brown shot a 88(+16) today to win by 5 shots.
