Indianapolis Amateur Players Tour at Sultan’s Run Golf Course Recap
The Indianapolis Amateur Players Tour made an exciting stop at Sultan’s Run Golf Course in Jasper, Indiana, where golfers showcased their skills across various divisions in a highly competitive event.
Division 1
Kentucky’s Tony Wise emerged victorious with an impressive 4-under-par 68, demonstrating exceptional precision and consistency. Wise’s performance was just enough to fend off fellow Kentuckian Rick Harp, who finished with a commendable 1-under-par 71.
Division 2
Michael Lingenfelter from Decatur, IL, claimed the Division 2 title with a solid 76. Lingenfelter’s steady play allowed him to hold off Joseph Arnold, who posted a close 77, and Christopher Jones, who finished with a 78.
Division 3
In Division 3, Simay Souvannarath from Imperial, Missouri, continued her winning streak with a spectacular round of 79. Souvannarath’s consistency helped her edge out Jason Stone, who finished with an 82, to take home the hardware.
Division 4
Rocky Metcalfe from Kansas City, MO, cruised to victory in Division 4 with a strong performance, posting an 88. Metcalfe’s solid play set him apart from the competition, securing the win.
Division 5
Division 5 saw a thrilling battle as Indiana’s Tom Heiser fought hard to claim the trophy. Heiser’s 92 was enough to narrowly defeat Arkansas’ David Lindahl, who finished with a 94, in a closely contested match.
Senior Net
Tony Wise added another victory to his name in the Senior Net division with an impressive 5-under-par 67, holding off Barney Sutley’s commendable 3-under-par 69.
Open Net
Tom Heiser completed a remarkable double win by also taking the Open Net division with a 3-under-par 69, narrowly defeating Andrew Voss, who finished with a strong 2-under-par 70.
