2025 Carolina Triad Forest Oaks Country Club Tournament Results

We had 60 players competing at Forest Oaks CC. The course was in great shape and the players were welcomed with temperatures in the 90s 

In Division 1, we had 6 players in the field competing for some mid-year points. The round was back and forth between 3 players. In the end Will Morgan and Randy Hodges shot 77(+5). The players headed back out on the course were Randu chip in for birdie on the first hole to win!!  Congratulations Randy ! 

 In Division 2 we had the lowest score recorded by 2 players on the field. Juan Sedano and Scott Nichols carded an E (72) as Richard Johnson finished in 3^rd place with a 74(+2). Scott and Juan headed back out on the course for a playoff. After 2 holes Scott Nichols held strong to win. Scott and Juan finished tied for the Senior Double Dip title.

   In Division 3 we had a player that surged into good form within the last month. Timmy Smith is coming from an elevated victory at Colonial CC. Smith followed that up with another round of 78 to win by 4 shots at Forest Oaks CC. The play from Timmy Smith earned him a promotion into Division 2. In the runner up position was Warren Hackler, Andy Parker and Jose Nelson Sanchez with a score of 80 (+8). Parker and Jose tied for the Senior Double Dip contest!

In Division 4, the theme continues with the playoffs. Daniel Henris and Fred Carvalho shot a round 81(+9). In the playoff Daniel made bogey on the 1^st hole to hold Carvalho to win the trophy. In 3^rd place we had a 4-way tie between Bruce Piercy, Ron LaMorte, Lane Abernathy and Phillip Johnson with a score of 83(+11). Henris and Carvalho tied for the Senior Double Dip contest.

In Division 5 Micheal Charles shot a 100(+28) to win in Division 5. Charles’ victory has got back into the POY conversation for Carolina Triad.
