Tournament Champions
The Indianapolis Amateur Players Tour made its way to West Chase Golf Club in Brownsburg, Indiana, where players battled the scorching sun in a highly competitive event.
- Division 1: Blake Claycomb (69) continued his dominant run with a two-under-par performance to outpace the field. Claycomb is now on a four-tournament win streak in Indianapolis and looks to have Player of the Year honors all but secured.
- Division 2: Tour newcomer Kaler Nicholson (82) made an immediate impact, showcasing steady play to claim his first APT trophy.
- Division 3: Tour veteran Ross Richardson (78) found his way back to the winner’s circle, edging out Nick Hardisty (82) and Zach Walker (82), who tied for second.
- Division 4: Traveling in from the Central Illinois Chapter, Bob Tipsword (84) made the trip worthwhile with a victory. His steady play was enough to hold off Garrett McCray (85) by one stroke, while Dylan Mulholland (86) rounded out the top three.
- Division 5: Drama unfolded as William Jackson (87) and Tom Heiser (87) headed to a playoff. Jackson prevailed on the first hole to take the win, while points leader Zach Jackson (90) secured third place.
- Open Net: Tom Heiser (69) posted an impressive two-under round to capture the trophy, with Zach Walker (72) finishing close behind.
- Senior Net: David Anthony (72) claimed victory with a one-over-par round, fending off a three-way tie for second between Shannon Sageser (75), John Pfeifer (75), and David Truex (75).
With just one event remaining, before the local finals, the Player of the Year race is heating up across all divisions. The final showdown promises excitement—who will rise to the occasion and take home the year-end honors?
