Tournament Champions
The St. Louis Chapter concluded its 2025 season last weekend at the top-ranked Annbriar Golf Course in Waterloo, IL. Annbriar is not a stranger to hosting big-time tournaments in the St. Louis area, hosting numerous USGA Qualifiers and the Korn Ferry Tour Monday Qualifier this years. 101 players showed up competing for the championship as well as coveted Autohaus BMW St. Louis Player of the Year points. Players had perfect scoring conditions as temperatures were mild and sunshine was abundant for the sold out event.
In Division 1, Ryan Eckelcamp (+2) was able to defend his title from last year, as he extended his lead with a brilliant 2nd round 2-under par 70 to separate himself from the field. The final margin was 4 as Joseph Chiarottinowas able to give chase, but ultimately took the runner up honors at +6 for the 36-hole event. 3rd place went to John Todd, who carded rounds of 77-77 to cap off a solid season at +10. Ryan Eckelcamp earned the Autohaus BMW Player of the Year honors after another successful campaign that featured 6 wins and low round of 67 to earn his 3rd straight Player of the Year award. John Todd took home the honors for the Senior Player of the Year.
In Division 2, Simay Souvannarath got off to a hot start, shooting even par on her first 9 holes on Saturday to build a lead that she would not relinquish. Being back in Division 2 for less than a month, she was eying for her first Division 2 victory and posted rounds of 77-76 to claim her first win at +9. Billy Davis made a charge on Sunday, but ultimately fell 2 shots short to finish runner-up at +11. 3rd place went to Mike Lingenfelter, who struggled on Saturday with an 85 but charged up the leaderboard on Sunday with an even-par 72 to finish at +13. 4th place went to Eric Schaetty at. +15 while Lee McCarthy and Todd Feuerhaken rounded out the top-5 at +16. Mike Lingenfelter earned the title of Autohaus BMW Player of the Year after a stellar-season that featured 6 wins. On the senior side, Simay completed the double-dip victory, besting Billy Davis by 2 shots and Mike Lingenfelter by 4 shots. Todd Feuerhaken capped off a solid 2025 campaign with a 4th place finish. Player of the Year came down to 6 points, with Billy Davis, Todd Feuerhaken and Simay Souvannarath all at the top of the leaderboard. Winning the final event pushed Simay Souvannarath over the edge and earned her the Senior Player of the Year title.
In Division 3, Darrell VankyGrifka has had his ups and downs during the 2025 campaign. A first round 78 broke the slump and earned him a 3-shot lead over Rick Johnson headed into Sunday’s final round. It can be tough to sleep on a lead and validate a good round, but VankyGrifka kept it together firing a second round 80 to earn a convincing 8-shot victory at +14. Gerald Harsley capped off a solid rookie campaign, working himself up from Division 4 to earn runner-up honors with a second round 80 and finish at +22 with Thomas Svezia who carded his best career finish on the APT. 4th place went to Steve Disch at +26. The Autohaus BMW Player of the Year award went to Dauffus Jackson, who capped off a successful season that featured 3 wins. Dauffus has steadily improved throughout his 3 years on the APT, working his way up from Division 5 all the way to Division 3. Congrats on the great season Dauffus! On the senior side, Darrell VankyGrifka completed the double-dip victory with his impressive performance, besting Gerald Harsley by 8 shots. The Senior Player of the Year award was won by Chris Turner after a solid season that saw his APT Tournament Index improve by over 3 shots!
In Division 4, Jerry Anderson capped off a great second half of the season with a victory at Annbriar, firing an 84-85 to finish at +25 and earn a 2-shot victory. Clay Metzger came up just short with a valient effort, seeking his first win but earning the runner-up honors at +27. Third place went to Dave Draucker and Josh Burnett who finished the event at +30. The top 5 was rounded out by Bill McMahan and Toby Chrzanowski at +31. The Autohaus BMW Player of the Year award went to Dave Draucker, who’s 2025 campaign featured 4 wins and a current position of 2nd (trailing by less than a point) in the Worldwide Golf National Player of the Year race. On the senior side, Jerry Anderson completed the double dip victory, besting Dave Draucker by 5 shots. Jerry Anderson, with the victory, earned the Autohaus BMW Senior Player of the Year honors.
In Division 5, Chris Brockmeyer entered the event with a chance to win and earn the Open Player of the Year title. An opening round 93 left him tied with Esther Flora for the first round lead. However, Sunday would belong to Ryan Troll, who shot an impressive 85 to come from 3 shots behind and earn a 6-shot victory at +37. Kevin Brown and Esther Flora tied for 2nd place at +43, while Chris Brockmeyer finished at +74 in 4th place. Jim Seibert earned the Autohaus BMW Local Player of the Year title, in a year that featured 5 wins and back-to-back victories at Spencer T. Olin and Annbriar in August. On the senior side, Kevin Brownearned the victory in a 2-hole playoff with Esther Flora, with a birdie on the 2nd playoff hole to take the title. Chris Brockmeyer earned his 3rd Senior Player of the Year award, in a stellar 2025 campaign.
In the net division, Thomas Svezia and Darrell VankyGrifka tied atop the leaderboard with a 2-day total of -8, besting Simay Souvannarath by one shot as she had her best result of the season with a 2-day total of -7. Billy Davis finished at -2, while Toby Chrzanowski finished at -1 to finish in 5th place. Tiffany McMillan finished in 6th place at Even par, while Steve Minder rounded out the money in 7th place at +2. The Autohaus BMW Player of the Year in the net division was a close race, with Peter Allen holding on to a slim lead over Chad Crawford heading into the finals. The result was very much in question during Sunday’s round, with Crawford pulling together a round to pull off a victory in the narrowest of margins to earn himself the Autohaus BMW Player of the Year title.

- Far Oaks Golf Club – Sunday, October 26th
- Pevely Farms Golf Club – Sunday, November 2nd

St. Louis Founders Cup Team Announced
The Founders Cup is a Ryder-cup style event vs. the Nashville Chapter, contested over 54 holes each October. The top 3 players in each division qualify, and the team is rounded out by a captain’s pick in each division. St. Louis leads the all-time series 2-1 (2021- W at Tunica National, 2023 – W at Annbriar, 2024 – L at Greystone). Here are the 20 players representing St. Louis on October 4-5 at Annbriar
