    On Sunday, the St. Louis chapter finished their 2025 season at the beautiful Far Oaks Golf Club in Caseyville, IL.  The weather was absolutely perfect, and 84 players teed it up on a beautiful Sunday to close out the 2024 calendar year with the golf course in great shape.

    In Division 1, Michael Clark got off to a slow start on the front 9, but the putter caught fire on the back as a 4-under 32 got him back to level par and a 2-shot win over Central Illinois’ Josh Anderson. Ben Barth and Scott Prosser finished in a tie for 3rd place at 4-over 76.  On the senior side, Michael Clark finished off the double-dip securing the senior title, besting John Todd who finished with a 79.

    In Division 2, Mark Lamoureux broke through in the Autohaus BMW winners circle, firing an impressive 5-over par 77 to secure a 2-shot win.  Finishing in solo 2nd, Simay Souvannarath fired a 79 to claim her best finish since being promoted to Division 2.  Eric Fogleman and Lee McCarthy finished in a tie for 3rd place with an 81, while Randy Maxwellfinished in 5th place with an 83.  On the senior side, Mark Lamoureux earned the win with a 2-shot victory over Souvannarath.

    In Division 3, Schooner Fitzgerald continued his hot streak to start the 2025 wrap-around season with back-to-back wins, firing an impressive 78 to earn a one-shot victory over Gary Orf, who finished with a 79.  Dusty Farrell finished in solo 3rd with a 81, while Dave Baxmeyer and Chris Turner rounded out the top-5 with rounds of 82.  On the senior side, Schooner Fitzgerald earned the victory, holding off a late charge by Gary Orf.

    In Division 4, Justin Wilson had himself a day.  Breaking 80 for the first time is a goal that many golfers strive for, but not that many achieve.  Well, Wilson did it for the first time on Sunday, shooting a personal-best 79 to earn a 3-shot victory over Dave Draucker, who finished in solo 2nd with an 82.  John Abercrombie finished in solo 3rd with a solid round of 83, while the top-5 was rounded out by Stevie Frank and Eric Willingham with rounds of 86.  On the senior side, Dave Draucker made it back to back wins, firing an impressive 82 to earn a one-shot victory over John Abercrombie.

    In Division 5, Kenneth Finkbeiner shot a solid 89 to enter the Autohaus BMW Winners Circle, earning a 2-shot victory over Crown Pointe winner Mark Galentine, who shot a 91.  Arthur Miller Jr. made the trip up from Memphis to finish in 3rd place with a 93, while Roger Eberlein finished in 4th place with a 95.  Kenneth Finkbeiner completed the senior double dip with an 89, earning a 2-shot victory over Mark Galentine.
