Here’s a breakdown of the results from Saturday’s tournament in Anderson:
Division 1 – Eighteen holes of golf proved to not be enough in Division 1 as Blake Blizard and Christopher King found themselves tied after carding rounds of 77. In the end, it was Blizard who emerged victorious in the playoff. Blizard settled into his round with a birdie on the par-five fourth hole before making five straight pars to close the opening nine. Blizard also took advantage of the par-five 14th hole, making birdie to remain atop the leaderboard. King made a back nine charge to reach the playoff, making birdie on two of the three back nine par fives – including the 18th hole. King played the back nine in even par, as a double bogey on the par-four 10th opened his stretch towards the clubhouse. Jody Clary shot 79 to finish third, followed by Randy Hodes in fourth place with a round of 80. Chris Bryant rounded out the top five in the division with a round of 82.
