2025 Traditions Golf Club Tournament Results
Tournament Champions
On a beautiful Sunday, November 3, 2024, the Columbus/Cincinnati/Kentucky Amateur Players Tours hosted an event at the prestigious Traditions Golf Club in Hebron, KY. Since its opening in 1992, Traditions has been a standout destination in the Greater Cincinnati area and is frequently recognized by Golf Digest as one of Kentucky’s top 10 courses. Known for hosting esteemed amateur tournaments, Traditions has welcomed events like the Kentucky Amateur, the Greater Cincinnati Golf Association Metro Championship, several USGA qualifiers, and, in 2012, the Kentucky Open.
The Amateur Players Tour, designed by players for players, offers golfers an exciting and competitive experience across ten skill-level divisions. Below is a recap of the recent event at Traditions Golf Club:
• Division 1: Jonathan Sudkamp of Covington, KY, captured a 2-stroke victory and +1 over par (73) over Josh Earnest of Lawrenceburg, KY. (75)
• Division 2: Chris Harris of Louisville, KY, delivered the low round of the day with a -1 under-par 71, surpassing Matt Walters of Frankfort, KY (73) and Jon Aydt of Independence, KY (77).
• Division 3: Michael Bruesch of Newark, OH, led the field of 13 with a 7-over-par 79, finishing 2 strokes ahead of both Ray Conley of Hilliard, OH, and Jason Krich of Westfield, IN.
• Division 4: Limited to 16 holes due to darkness, Don Hubbard of Independence, KY, won a scorecard playoff against Danny Hause of North Myrtle Beach, SC. Aaron Holeman of Thornville, OH, came in 3rd, just one stroke behind the leaders.
• Division 5: Also shortened to 16 holes, Gregg Centers emerged victorious with a 1-shot victory over Bill Curtin of Nicholasville, KY, with Troy Babcock finishing 3rd.
Senior Division Results:
• Senior D2: 1st – Chris Harris, 2nd – Matt Walters
• Senior D3: 1st – Ray Conley, 2nd – Gary Barrow
• Senior D4: 1st – Danny Hause, 2nd – Dick Brown
• Senior D5: 1st – Gregg Centers, 2nd – Bill Curtin
