Tournament Champions
As the Christmas holiday quickly approaches, golfers on the Charleston Amateur Players Tour were treated to a round of golf at Tom Fazio’s design at Wild Dunes Resort in the Isle of Palms this past weekend.
The tournament was a part of the Charleston Amateur Players Tour circuit as the tour travels the Lowcountry of South Carolina and portions of Georgia, offering golfers of all skill levels a chance to compete in one of ten different divisions.
The Harbor Course at Wild Dunes Resort offers a diverse range of tees from 4,600 yards to 6,400 yards from the back set. The course features tightly bunkered fairways, small lagoons, marshes and six par 3s that pose a formidable challenge for every golfer’s game.
Designed by Tom Fazio, the Harbor Golf Course is known for its challenging design and beautiful views, and most of all, water. From lagoons and salt marshes to the Intracoastal Waterway, the varied golf course tests all aspects of one’s game.
