Another great season of the Columbus Amateur Players Tour is officially in the books, and we would like to recognize our 2026 Players of the Year and the top finishers in each division.
Throughout the season, our players battled for points at courses across Central Ohio, and several races came right down to the final events of the year.
Division 2 – Player of the Year: Blake Smith
What a first year on Tour for Blake Smith of Lancaster, OH! Blake recorded an impressive 5 victories during his rookie season and earned the Division 2 Player of the Year title.

2nd – Jeremy Roush (Coolville, OH) – 4 Wins
3rd – Rick Williamson (Wayne, OH) – 2 Wins
Congratulations to Blake on an outstanding first season!
Division 3 – Player of the Year: Jason Wright
Jason Wright of Oak Hill, OH dominated the Division 3 standings throughout the season, collecting 3 victories on his way to the Player of the Year title.
1st – Jason Wright (Oak Hill, OH) – 3 Wins
2nd – Chris Louth (Urbana, OH) – 2 Wins
3rd – Tim Jameson (Ashville, OH) – 4 Wins
Jason put together a tremendous season and established himself as the player to beat in Division 3.
Division 4 – Player of the Year: Chris Berry
Nobody finished the season hotter than Chris Berry of Carroll, OH. Chris collected an incredible 6 victories during the season and closed it out by winning his final three events in a row to capture the Division 4 Player of the Year title.
1st – Chris Berry (Carroll, OH) – 6 Wins
2nd – Johnny Sherman (Ashville, OH) – 3 Wins
3rd – Van Rome (Canal Winchester, OH) – 1 Win
What a way to finish an outstanding season!
Division 5 – Player of the Year: Aaron Holman
Aaron Holman of Newark, OH went wire-to-wire in Division 5, leading the way throughout the season and finishing with an incredible 7 victories.
1st – Aaron Holman (Newark, OH) – 7 Wins
2nd – Doc Sherman (Pleasant City, OH) – 5 Wins
3rd – Quintin Jessee (Hilliard, OH) – 1 Win
Quintin also had a great showing in his first year on Tour, finishing third in the season-long standings.
Mid-Am Net – Player of the Year: Chris Louth
The Mid-Am Net Player of the Year race came down to the final tournament of the season.
Heading into the Tour Finals, Zach Walker held just a 10-point lead over Chris Louth. With everything on the line, Louth delivered when it mattered most, winning the Tour Finals and securing the Mid-Am Net Player of the Year title.

2nd – Chris Berry (Carroll, OH) – 3 Wins
3rd – Zach Walker – 4 Wins
It was a tremendous finish to one of our closest points races of the entire season.
Senior Net – Player of the Year: Jason Wright
Jason Wright wasn’t finished with just the Division 3 title. He also captured the Senior Net Player of the Year Championship, giving him two Player of the Year titles in 2026.
1st – Jason Wright (Oak Hill, OH) – 4 Wins
2nd – Doc Sherman (Pleasant City, OH) – 1 Win
3rd – Ryan Darling (Pataskala, OH) – 2 Wins

The 2027 Fall Season schedule has officially been posted, and we’ll see everyone on October 12th at TPC River’s Bend for the start of the 2027 Columbus Amateur Players Tour season!
