    High Meadow Ranch Open

Despite an unfavorable forecast calling for rain throughout the day, the weather proved to be a non-factor for the Amateur Players Tour stop at High Meadow Ranch. Conditions only improved, delivering a beautiful Saturday for competition as players took on one of the tour’s favorite venues.

    Division 1

Jared Marusic set the early pace with a +1 (37) on the front nine, holding a slim lead over Mark Young, Demonte Alexander, and newcomer Ricky Keys, all at +3 (39). The momentum shifted quickly on the back nine as Mark Young eagled the 10th hole and followed it up with two additional birdies. That surge propelled him into the lead and he never looked back, securing the victory with an impressive -1 (71).

    Division 2

Richard Michalsky wasted no time making his presence known, opening with a birdie on hole one and continuing what turned into a birdie-filled round. He posted a +1 (37) on the front nine, building a two-shot lead over Darien Duhon at +3 (39). Michalsky dominated the back nine with five birdies, finishing at  –3 (33) . His total of seven birdies on the day led to a commanding win at -2 (70).

    Division 3

The largest field of the tournament, featuring 15 players, delivered one of the most competitive finishes of the day. Gary Josephson led early with a steady +2 (38), holding a two-shot advantage over Joseph Sawyer at +4 (40). The leaderboard tightened on the back nine as Troy White birdied the 10th, and four players—Lemon, Sawyer, White, and Prette—found themselves tied with Josephson’s lead cut to one. Down the stretch, Josephson’s consistency proved decisive as he maintained control to finish at +6 (78). Troy White claimed second at +7 (79), while Prette, Lemon, and Sawyer tied for third at +8 (80).

    Division 4

George Jones put together a solid front nine, highlighted by a birdie on the 9th to make the turn at +4 (40), with Devin Snyder close behind at +5 (41). Andrew Antoine positioned himself with steady play, stringing together key pars to stay in contention. A crucial par on 16 gave Antoine the lead, and he held on through the finish to secure the win at +11 (83). Jones finished just one shot back at +12 (84).

    Division 5

Terry Collins led after the front nine with a +7 (43), while Tom Tribble remained within striking distance at +10 (46). The two battled throughout the back nine, trading momentum as the round progressed. A clutch par on 17 brought Tribble within one, and both players finished tied at +21 (93), forcing the tournament’s first playoff. On the opening playoff hole, Collins found the fairway and positioned himself well, while Tribble’s drive found trouble. Collins capitalized, getting up and down from a greenside bunker to secure the playoff victory.

    Senior Net Division

James Prette claimed the Senior Net title with an outstanding -5 (67). Gary Josephson followed in second at -2 (70), with Troy White finishing third at -1 (71).

Congratulations to all our winners and competitors for a great day at High Meadow Ranch.
