    🏌️‍♂️  KY/NSH at Park Mammoth Golf Club – Event Recap 

    Saturday, November 8, 2025 | Park Mammoth Golf Club | Park City, KY 

    Cool fall weather and soft conditions greeted players for the KY/NSH event at Park Mammoth Golf Club as the Amateur Players Tour continued its 2026 season. 
    Despite Friday’s rain threatening play, the course held up beautifully — and players from both the Nashville and Kentucky chapters delivered an exciting day of competition. 

    🥇 Division 1 – Mitchell Goes Low at Park Mammoth 

    Matt Mitchell took command of the top division, firing a superb 2-under-par 68 to claim the victory. His round featured two birdies and a hole-out eagle on the par-5 17th, capping a flawless finish to secure the win and a $270 payout. 

    Cameron Buse posted a solid even-par 70 to finish runner-up, while Andrew Buse and Josh Earnest shared third at +1 (71)

    🥈 Division 2 – Probus Prevails in Tight Finish 

    In Division 2 and the largest field of 33 players, Gus Probus from Kentucky claimed the top spot with a steady +2 (72), highlighted by three birdies and confident play under pressure. He earned 345 points and $432 for the victory. 

    Lee Busey finished just one shot back at +3 (73), while Jake Swiacki took third at +4 (74)
    Rounding out the top five were Kevin Hoffmann (+5) and a three-way tie at +6 (76) between Todd SchrockMicheal Lynn, and Michael Osborne

    🥉 Division 3 – Guthrie Wins Playoff Thriller 

    Division 3 came down to extra holes, where Chris Guthrie from Nashville outlasted Ben Coleman in a one-hole playoff after both players carded +10 (80)
    The victory earned Guthrie $351 and valuable points toward the season standings. 

    Todd Osinski and Clay Euton tied for third at +11 (81), while a crowded group of players finished at +13 (83), showing the depth of competition throughout the division.

    💪 Division 4 – Earnest Rises to the Top 

    Kentucky’s Jason Earnest delivered a strong performance in Division 4, firing a +9 (79) to take home the win and $324
    Christian Carpenter finished runner-up at +12 (82), with Todd Gregory claiming third at +14 (84)

    🏁 Division 5 – Brooks Shines Again 

    Abigail Brooks continued her strong season form, posting +18 (88) to earn the Division 5 title and $241
    She edged out Don Varble and Keith Pulley, who shared second place at +19 (89)

    🏆 Net Competitions – Louth Wins Mid-Am Playoff, Earnest Doubles Up 

    In the Mid-Am Net Division, three players finished tied at net 69 (-1) — Jake SwiackiChris Louth, and Abigail Brooks — with Louth claiming the trophy on a scorecard playoff. Each earned $106.67 for their performance.

    🧓 Senior Net – Earnest Dominates with a 66 

    In the Senior Net DivisionJason Earnest continued his outstanding play, posting a stellar net 66 (-4) to take home the win and a $252 payout
    It capped off a memorable day for Earnest, who also claimed the Division 4 title, completing a rare double victory at Park Mammoth. 

    Behind him, both Chris Guthrie (Nashville) and Clay Euton (Kentucky) turned in strong performances with matching net 70 (E) scores to share second place and earn $98 each

    Paul Baker and Don Varble rounded out the top five with net 71 (+1) finishes, each earning $56
