Division 1 turned into a tight battle at the top, with Parker Sewell edging out the field to claim the win at 1-under par.
Sewell’s round had its share of momentum swings, but he kept bouncing back when he needed to. He made birdies on 2, 4, 8, 9, 13, 14, and 17, and despite a few bogeys mixed in along the way, he stayed composed enough to finish the day under par and secure the victory.
Just one shot behind was Alex Meadors, who finished at even par after a steady round from start to finish. Meadors recovered nicely from an early double bogey and settled in with birdies on 2, 4, and 12 to keep himself in contention throughout the day. He stayed within striking distance all afternoon but ultimately came up one shot short.
Division 2 came down to consistency, and in the end David Barnes was the only player in the field to finish at even par, earning a two-shot victory.
Barnes played a steady round with timely birdies throughout the day, making key gains on 2, 4, 11, 14, 15, and 17. Even when a few bogeys showed up in the middle of the round, he responded well and kept momentum on his side. His closing stretch, highlighted by birdies on 14, 15, and 17, helped him pull away late and secure the win.
Tied for second at 2-over par were Lee Busey and Gregory Wyatt, each taking different paths to the same score. Busey turned in one of the steadiest cards of the day, limiting mistakes and staying near the top of the leaderboard throughout the round. Wyatt recovered nicely after an early double bogey on the 2nd hole and battled back with birdies on 3, 9, 12, and 13 to work his way into a share of second.
Tied for fourth at 3-over par were Tyler Whittaker and Tim Ewing, while John Stinson, Kyle Trapiss, Frank Thomas II, and Ryan Love shared sixth place at 4-over par.
Division 3 came down to extra holes, as Christian Carpenter and Matt Love both finished regulation at 6-over par before heading to a playoff to decide the winner.
After both players matched scores on the opening playoff hole, Carpenter secured the victory with a par on the second playoff hole, closing out a hard-fought battle that stayed tight all afternoon.
Carpenter’s round showed plenty of resilience. After a rough opening stretch that included bogeys on two of his first three holes, he settled in and slowly worked his way back. Birdies on 8, 12, and 13 gave him momentum heading into the back nine, and he played steady golf late in the round to keep himself in position for the playoff. Once there, he stayed composed and finished the job with the clutch par on the second extra hole.
Love turned in one of the steadiest rounds in the field and nearly grabbed the win himself. He kept mistakes to a minimum for most of the day and made a key birdie on 12 to stay right in the middle of the race. His consistency carried him all the way into the playoff, where he pushed Carpenter through two extra holes before settling for second place.
Don Weiss Jr. finished alone in third at 7-over par after one of the more impressive recoveries of the day. A triple bogey on the opening hole could have easily derailed the round, but Weiss battled back with birdies on 4, 9, and 17 to climb back into contention and finish just one shot out of the playoff.
Tied for fourth at 8-over par were Dusty Nowlin and Bryan Harwell, rounding out a competitive Division 3 leaderboard.
Division 4 turned into a close battle at the top, with Alex Garcia edging the field to claim the win at 9-over par.
Garcia’s round was built on consistency from start to finish. While he did not make a birdie during the day, he avoided the kind of big numbers that caused problems for much of the field. He kept his card under control through the front nine and stayed patient on the back, limiting mistakes and grinding out pars when Greystone became difficult. That steady approach ultimately proved to be the difference, as Garcia finished one shot clear of the field.
Just behind him was Brandon Jarrell, who finished alone in second at 10-over par. Jarrell’s round had more swings in momentum, highlighted early by a birdie on the 2nd hole that briefly pushed him into red numbers. A difficult stretch around the middle of the front nine, including a triple bogey on 7, could have knocked him out of contention, but he responded well and battled his way back into the hunt. His ability to steady the round after that setback kept pressure on the lead all the way to the closing holes.
Tied for third at 11-over par were Thomas Jones II and Lucas Wheeler, both staying within striking distance throughout the day in another tightly contested division at Greystone.
Division 5 at Greystone Golf Club saw Rachel Guthrie put together the best round of the day, finishing at 8-over par to earn a comfortable victory.
Guthrie played a steady round from start to finish and avoided the big mistakes that caught much of the field throughout the afternoon. After a couple of early bogeys, she settled in nicely through the middle of the round before making her biggest move with a birdie on the 11th hole. From there, she stayed composed coming home, limiting damage over the closing stretch and pulling away for the win by five shots.
Keith Pulley finished alone in second at 13-over par after a round that featured both strong moments and a few costly holes. He got off to a solid start with a birdie on the 3rd hole, then added another on 14 to keep himself near the top of the leaderboard. Despite some bumps along the way, Pulley stayed competitive throughout the day and secured the runner-up spot with a steady finish.
In third place was Corey Morgan at 17-over par. Morgan opened his round with a birdie on the 3rd hole and stayed in the mix through the front nine, but Greystone became more demanding on the back side. Even with a difficult stretch around holes 12 and 13, he continued battling and held onto third place to round out the Division 5 standings.
The Mid-Am Net finished with a tie at the top, as Dusty Nowlin and Alex Garcia both posted rounds of 2-under net to share first place honors.
Per tournament policy, the prize money was divided evenly between the two players, while the trophy was decided using the USGA scorecard playoff format. After the scorecard playoff was applied, Dusty Nowlin earned the trophy.
Tied for third at even-par net were Thomas Jones II and David Smith, both turning in solid rounds to round out a competitive Mid-Am Net field.
The Senior Net competition belonged to Rachel Guthrie, who separated herself from the field with an impressive round of 10-under net to earn the victory.
A tie for second place at 2-under net featured Neil Master and Don Weiss Jr. Both players turned in strong rounds to finish well under par and secure runner-up honors.
Four players shared fourth place at 1-under net: Barney Sutley, Matt Love, Bryan Harwell, and Bruce Gordon, rounding out a tightly packed leaderboard behind Guthrie’s standout performance.
The Senior Net field produced several solid scores throughout the day, but Guthrie’s round proved to be the class of the division at Greystone.
