Seattle APT Competes at Salish Cliffs
The Seattle chapter made its stop at Salish Cliffs Golf Club as the 2026 season continues toward its final stretch. Players competed across all five divisions, with additional titles on the line in the Mid-Am Net and Senior Net competitions.
Several players walked away with more than one reason to celebrate, as Jeremy Kim and Mark Hewitt each earned victories in both their respective divisions and net competitions, while Ghanshyam Patel followed his Division 5 win with a runner-up finish in Senior Net.
Division 1
Jeremy Kim controlled Division 1 with a round of 75 (+3) to take the victory. Kim finished 16 shots ahead of Adam Fierro, who posted a 91 (+19) to take second.
Kim’s day wasn’t finished there. His performance also translated to the top of the Mid-Am Net leaderboard, giving him two wins at Salish Cliffs.
Division 2
Division 2 produced one of the closest races of the day.
Scott Sacchi posted an 81 (+9) to claim the title by two strokes. Behind him, Kevin Murray and Corey Bayless each finished at 83 (+11), sharing second place.
Brandon Paul Weaver followed at 85 (+13), while Kristian Alexander rounded out the top five with an 87 (+15).
Division 3
DK Kotwal separated himself from the field in Division 3, finishing with an 87 (+15) and a three-shot victory.
The battle behind him ended in a tie, as Nick Girard and Noni Attie each carded rounds of 90 (+18). Joe Valladares finished fourth at 93 (+21), followed by Raj Bhanot at 94 (+22).
Attie also put together one of the better net performances of the event, finishing runner-up in the Mid-Am Net competition.
Division 4
Another three-shot victory came in Division 4, where Mark Hewitt posted an 83 (+11) to earn the win.
Lee Martin finished second with an 86 (+14), while Bill Peabody and Harsha Yellamareddygari shared third after matching rounds of 90 (+18). Michael Tighe completed the top five at 93 (+21).
Like Kim, Hewitt wasn’t done collecting wins. His round also put him at the top of the Senior Net leaderboard.
Division 5
Ghanshyam Patel took care of business in Division 5, posting a 90 (+18) to earn the victory.
Pete Valladares finished second with a 101 (+29), while Jeffery Green took third at 107 (+35).
Patel also had a strong showing in the Senior Net competition, where his net 74 was good enough for a share of second place.
Mid-Am Net
Jeremy Kim completed his two-win day by taking the Mid-Am Net title with a 3-under net 69.
Kim finished seven shots clear of Noni Attie, who took second with a net 76 (+4). Joe Valladares followed in third with a 78 (+6), while Kevin Murray and Kristian Alexander tied for fourth at 79 (+7).
Kim’s Division 1 and Mid-Am Net victories made him the only player besides Mark Hewitt to leave Salish Cliffs with two titles.
Senior Net
Mark Hewitt turned his Division 4 victory into a sweep of his eligible competitions, winning Senior Net with a 4-under net 68.
The race for second finished in a tie between two other division winners. Ghanshyam Patel and Scott Sacchi each posted net rounds of 74 (+2), giving the Senior Net podium three players who also won their respective divisions.
Lee Martin followed with a net 75 (+3), while Bill Peabody finished fifth at 76 (+4).
Next Up for Seattle
Congratulations to Jeremy Kim, Scott Sacchi, DK Kotwal, Mark Hewitt and Ghanshyam Patel on their division victories, along with Kim and Hewitt on adding Mid-Am Net and Senior Net titles.
The Seattle chapter now turns its attention to Harbour Pointe Golf Club on August 2, followed by Trophy Lake Golf & Casting on August 16. With Local Finals at The Home Course coming August 30, only a few events remain on the Seattle schedule before the 2026 season heads toward its conclusion.
